Dileepji
…some disciples visiting in India asked, “What is the nature of the energy that flows through Dileepji?” Shri Dhyanyogi’s answer was simple: “Mine.”
Dileepji, like Shri Anandi Ma, has been Shri Dhyanyogi’s student since his early teens. Over 30 years ago, Dileepji’s father, one of Shri Dhyanyogi’s greatest devotees, told his teacher, “I have five sons. I would like to give you one to do your work.” Shri Dhyanyogi responded, “When the time comes, I will take Dileepji.”
It was Shri Dhyanyogi’s deep love and compassion for humanity that touched and inspired the young Dileepji. Throughout his years of schooling, Dileepji spent as much time as possible with Shri Dhyanyogi, growing up with him, accompanying him in his travels, and absorbing Shri Dhyanyogi’s nature and temperament. With Shri Dhyanyogi’s guidance and blessings, Dileepji performed intense spiritual practices, mastered many yogic disciplines, and became one of Shri Dhyanyogi’s most advanced disciples.
Dileepji is empowered by Shri Dhyanyogi to perform Shaktipat initiation.
After completing his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry in India, Dileepji came to the U.S. in 1974 to obtain a degree in Microbiology. At that time, Shri Dhyanyogi told him, “You go and I will come later.”
Previously known as Deepakji, in 1993 Shri Dhyanyogi gave him the spiritual name, Dileepji, which means, “One who wins the hearts of others.” At that same time, some disciples visiting in India asked, “What is the nature of the energy that flows through Dileepji?” Shri Dhyanyogi’s answer was simple: “Mine.”
