ANANDI MA ASHRAM, Nikora, India

Shri Anandi Ma and Dileepji continue Shri Dhyanyogi’s work in America, India and Europe. After Shri Dhyanyogi’s Mahasamadhi, in accordance with his wishes, they purchased land in Nikora, a small village near Bharuch, Gujarat, not far from the site of Shri Dhyanyogi’s final rites. It is here on the banks of the holy river Narmada that they have built an ashram, Dhyanidham, (which means “place of meditation”) and a breathtakingly beautiful temple that houses his Mahasamadhi shrine.

To fulfill Shri Dhyanyogi’s desire to offer medical services to those who cannot afford them, there is a free medical clinic at the ashram each Sunday that serves the local people. Every year, the ashram hosts a weekend medical camp that provides services for a thousand patients coming from great distances. Free cataract surgeries are arranged through this service.

Both the ashram in Nikora and the center in Antioch are dedicated to awakening the spirituality in seekers who will come to visit over the years, and they will be bases for Dhyanyoga Centers’ charitable works.
