antioch_lgIn 1999, Dhyanyoga Centers bought seven acres of land in Antioch, CA where now stands DYC – Antioch, a physical place in America to hold Shri Dhyanyogi’s energy and the energy of his disciples for future generations. The Center opened in 2006 and is now brimming with activity every day of the week. In addition to the many workshops and retreats held here throughout the year, hatha yoga and meditation classes and weekly meditation programs draw people interested in spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.

The Center’s talented kirtan group offers free monthly kirtan concerts at the Center and performs at yoga studios in the Bay area.

The Center hosts a weekly free yoga class for our local community in addition to modestly priced beginner and intermediate yoga classes throughout the week.

DYC’s Antioch location offers yoga classes for the beginning and intermediate student integrate postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, and yoga philosophy.

Our Introduction to Meditation classes offer instruction in concentration, deep relaxation, healthy yogic breath, witness consciousness, learning to be present in the moment, and exploring the nature of the self.

The Center hosts quarterly personal retreat days as well as a variety workshops on such topics as: The Science of Yoga, Psychology and Spirituality, Cooking for the Sattvic Soul, Ayurveda, Sanskrit Study, Healing Herbs, and Vegetarian Cooking

Guest teachers specializing in the science of yoga, various healing modalities, healthy living, and creativity as a path to knowing the self enrich our curriculum.

For those seeking a deeper spiritual path, Shri Anandi Ma, Meditation and Yoga Master in the ancient lineage of Kundalini Maha Yoga, offers meditation programs, workshops and Shaktipat when in residence.
